Who We Are

DIRECT TO CONSUMER

LGTech uses the Direct to Consumer methodology. This is essential for any new startup wanting to get into the IoT market or even for seasoned corporate entities which would like to minimize the risk of investing in IoT.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

LGTech’s approach means you don’t have to go to multiple vendors or providers to get your requirements fulfilled. That also cuts out the costs incurred over the long run all the while making sure you don’t have multiple technologies to look after in order to get a single device to work.

HOW DOES LGTECH DO THAT?

First off, LGTech is developing everything in house so desktop and mobile apps, with web based portals are also being commissioned. With everything being built by the same manufacturer you can rest assured there will be seamless integration and smooth operations through and through.

THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN

To begin with, companies already offering IOT offer their services based off of the client-server model which basically enables end devices and users to communicate with a server. This centralized approach definitely has its pros. It offers centralized communication and dedicated channels for support whether that be humans, devices or both.

This further enables a company to utilize an expensive setup for multiple channels of servicing allowing for the same setup to cater to not only multiple clients but also multiple requirements of those clients.

A DEER CAUGHT IN THE HEADLIGHTS

Another problem that the market faces, with special focus on SME’s and start-ups is the fact that these large setups and veteran service providers often offer contractual obligations. Once onboard, consumers are left with little choice but to go back to the same providers for assistance and support whether logistical or technical. Either ways, they feel like being trapped.

SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

While this may seem like a cost-effective solution for the IOT service providers and device manufacturers, the complexity involved in setting up such a large structure, not to mention the costs involved leave potential consumers and businesses with little or no room to navigate. This is where LGTech comes in.

A DIFFERENT BALL GAME ALL TOGETHER

LGTech offers a peer to peer or node to node networking model. In essence, this means that the need for a costly centralized server gets eliminated. Furthermore, since each device is preloaded with all the necessary resources, every single device can potentially act as a server where and when the need arises.

Using this model, LGTech is working towards automating and integrating smaller devices in order to deal with challenges faced by smaller scales of operations. This includes the end-user who would like to automate their garage door upon arrival, or who would like to manipulate the thermostat on their refrigerator while at work or even when commuting to and from home. This is directly contradictory to the vision of other companies that are thinking about automating large office spaces, factories as well as cities.

In short, LGTech is thinking about the end user and real-life challenges, the kind that are being ignored by money-motivated giants such as Amazon, Microsoft and the like.

WHAT REALLY SETS
LGTECH APART?

INDIVIDUALS VS. ENTITIES

LGTech is working towards automating and integrating smaller devices in order to deal with challenges faced by smaller scales of operations. This includes the end-user who would like to automate their garage door upon arrival, or who would like to manipulate the thermostat on their refrigerator while at work or even when commuting to and from home. This is directly contradictory to the vision of other companies that are thinking about automating large office spaces, factories as well as cities.

EVERYTHING IN-HOUSE

Due to LGTech’s vision and mission of looking out for the individual’s needs as well as those of the corporate giants, LGTech is building a completely autonomous set of service provision models. This means everything that LGTech has to offer will be based off of the node to node model and will minimize the use of third party interfacing mechanisms all together.
